The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford is located in Shropshire and offers a fun, entertaining day out for all the entire family. Situated next to an active airfield, this is the only place in the Midlands where you can get close to so many breathtaking aircraft for free.
Over 70 aircraft of international importance are housed in three Wartime Hangars and within the National Cold War Exhibition.
From an extensive Customer Service training, to Middle & Senior & Strategic Management programmes, through to Assessor, PTLS & IQA qualifications to capacity build the organisation, Well Training have delivered an extensive range of training to RAF Museum Cosford.
“In the early days our staff were reluctant to come forward for training. However, feedback from early courses delivered by Well, particularly relating to the manner in which Lianne delivered the training and her relationships with students, soon changed that.
Since then there has been a queue. Well Training delivered a wide range of development training to many members of staff at our Cosford site. Courses have ranged from level 2 customer service training for those that meet the public on a daily basis through to certificated level 7 strategic management training.
We also have adults enthusiastically undertaking Higher Apprenticeships in Management. All training has required effort from our people, no such thing as just sitting there getting death by PowerPoint, classes were interactive and relied on team effort for success.
Out of hours support for those studying at home or at their desks was always at the end of the phone and freely available. Training has been spread over time frames that suit us and whenever our schedule changed Well responded to our needs, even splitting one course so that we didn’t lose too many key personnel at the same time.
Such was the enthusiasm displayed by Lianne that a number of our people have since volunteered to take on extra responsibility and have become qualified coaches and mentors and a number have also completed PTLLS courses so they can pass on their skills to others in the workplace.
All in all our relationship with Well Training has worked for us and no doubt will continue .”
