After two years of dedicated delivery by our very own Julie Taylor, the Black Country Futures (BCF) project has officially come to a close — and what a journey it’s been.
Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and initially led by Steps To Work, most recently led by Manor Farm Community Association. BCF brought together expert delivery partners from across the region to support local people aged 16 and over in the Black Country. The mission? To help individuals overcome barriers, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward employment, education, and long-term economic stability.
As a training provider known for our impactful apprenticeship and commercial training programmes, we were proud to contribute our expertise in community-based learning throughout the project. Over the two years, our team delivered:
Confidence Building Workshops
CV Writing & Interview Skills Sessions
Level 1 Customer Service and Travel & Tourism courses
Youth engagement sessions at local job centres and Wolverhampton Youth Hub
These initiatives weren’t just about skills — they were about sparking change, building belief, and helping people take back control of their future.

Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to every learner who took the leap, and to our incredible partners — Black Country Futures, The National Lottery Community Fund, Steps To Work, and Manor Farm Community Association — for making these programmes a reality.
The BCF project has ended, but the confidence it built and the lives it changed are just the beginning.
The future is bright for our BCF learners — and we’re proud to have walked part of that path with them.
