Maz Page, the founder of Brierley Hill Baby Bank, started the charity in 2019 in her living room after feeling inspired to help a friend in need. Overwhelmed by the kindness of people donating their unwanted baby clothes and toys, Maz has since transformed it into a thriving charity dedicated to supporting families and employs 5 staff and has welcomed over 40 volunteers.
The charity provides families with essential items, including toiletries, nappies, clothes, toys, and pushchairs. Families are referred to the baby bank by a healthcare professional if they need assistance in providing these items for their child (aged 0-2 years, boys and girls). Referrals are taken from the DY1-DY10, b63, B64, B65 areas.
Not only this, the charity support mums with a quiet room to meet with their midwives or a sensory room where families can come for some much needed playtime!

Donations to the baby bank are washed, dried and folded in-house and assembled by the team of volunteers into beautiful Moses basket packs (compliance with The Lullaby Trust guidelines for safer sleeping to prevent sudden infant death syndrome).
