Nant partner with leading training company to upskill senior management
Award winning water safety specialists Nant have partnered with a leading training company for a strategic development programme for management.
Senior colleagues at Wolverhampton-based Nant are building their strategic mentoring and coaching skills thanks to coaching from WELL Training, a leading provider for international brands.
Managing Director Carl Baker and Technical Director Richard Deakin have begun their Chartered Management Institute (CMI) level 7 leadership coaching and mentoring training, led by WELL’s Head of Corporate Development Lianne Russell.
The programme develops leaders who have the authority and responsibility for developing and implementing a coaching and mentoring strategy across an organisation.
The topics covered include coaching within organisational culture, mentoring policies and leadership skills. Participants also learn the organisational value and strategic impact of coaching and mentoring and ways of embedding colleague development into an organisation.
The programme comes on the back of extensive investment in training, ranging from MBA courses for management through to managerial development and entry level apprenticeship courses.
Established in 1994 to provide top-quality service in legionella control. Nant’s portfolio of clients includes well-known brands in leisure and hospitality as well as three of the five largest care groups.
Carl Baker said: “We recognise that senior management can play a leading role in coaching colleagues to gain the skills to achieve the highest standards for our customers while developing their own careers, so we are delighted to be working with Lianne and WELL Training.
“One of Nant’s values is to develop our people as we believe our team is our greatest asset. We are committed to investing in their skills and knowledge, ensuring that they have the tools and support they need to consistently deliver high-quality services to our clients.
“Both Nant and WELL Training are businesses with proud Black Country heritages who deliver high quality services for leading national brands so our partnership seems a great fit for both sides.”
