Steve Payne, Julie Taylor, and Leanne Lloyd, represented the entire WELL Training team today during a visit to the Children’s Ward at Russell’s Hall Hospital, part of The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust. As a company, we collectively decided that yes, our traditional Secret Santa is fun but there is a more meaningful way to spend our money, so we launched our Secret Santa fundraiser. We raised almost £300 and have been able to provide much-needed support to children and young people admitted to this hospital. The Children’s Ward started an essentials initiative after a patient was admitted in crisis, arriving with nothing.

Healthcare professionals (left to right) Lizzie Oakley (Play Facilitator), Cleo McKenzie (Deputy Matron), Karen Anderson (Head of Children’s Services) and Linda Taylor (Play Specialist), they were thrilled to see 6 big bags full of everyday essential items, items that we take for granted! A big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the fundraising effort, bringing comfort to those in need during the holiday season. Merry Christmas to all those involved in making this meaningful donation happen. Your actions illustrate the true spirit of Christmas!
