WELL Training accredited to the Matrix standard

Leading development skills provider WELL Training has been accredited to the Matrix standard, demonstrating the high quality training and development standards they provide to a range of national and international customers.

WELL was launched in 2010 to initially provide training services for businesses around the West Midlands. Since then, it has supported more than 3000 learners.

With 11 employees, it provides development courses, plus training for people at risk of being long-term unemployed and now works with international brands through to large public sector organisations such as the NHS.

Despite the Covid-19 global pandemic, WELL saw notable successes including the delivery of courses for leading brands such as Caffe Nero, Just Eat For Business, Premier Marinas and Charles Bentley.

The Matrix standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice or guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering.

Roger Chapman, head of the Matrix service for The Growth Company said: “This is a fantastic achievement for WELL Training and I would like to congratulate the team on their success.

“We believe that at the heart of high-quality advice and support services are strong leadership, excellent service and a focus on continuous improvement, all underpinned by effective use of the resources available.

“The Matrix standard is designed to benchmark organisations against best practice in these areas. With their accreditation success, WELL Training is working to provide the best possible support to their clients.”

Commenting on the award, WELL’s CEO Lindsey Flynn, said: “The WELL team are committed to delivering excellence in everything we do, so attaining this award is further recognition of the quality of our services and the strength of our approach.”
