Customer Service Qualifications

Customer Service Apprenticeship Framework

Introduction

Customer Service Apprenticeships are available at either Level 2 or Level 3. The customer service apprenticeships are designed to provide work-based training, development and new learning opportunities, to develop your knowledge and skills within the work place.

Customer Service Apprenticeships can be used in all sectors there are therefore many job roles that an Apprentice may be carrying out. Many industries and organisations are now recruiting bespoke ‘customer service’ staff and by achieving these apprenticeships, you will have a qualification that can be used across sector boundaries giving more opportunities for full employment in a dedicated customer service role. Apprenticeships are open to all age groups.

Who Should Attend?

The Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeships in Customer Service are designed for those who wish to pursue a career in customer service/care, as well as develop their skills and knowledge in this area. The aim of the qualification is to help individuals gain and develop the skills necessary to provide and deliver a high value of performance, which will ultimately aid career progression.

A level 2 apprenticeship is suitable for candidates who have a particular customer service/administrative job roles and are working in a customer service environment.

A level 3 advanced apprenticeship is aimed at candidates who are delivering and managing service and are accountable in the area of practice. Therefore they can influence what happens at work, use the organisation’s rules and systems flexibly to deliver good service, question the way things are done and suggest improvements and are aware of the commercial pressures facing the organisation.

Course Content

Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship Content

The Level 2 Apprenticeship Pathway consists of the following key elements:

  • NCFE Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Service
  • NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service Knowledge
  • Level  1 Functions Skills English & Level 1 Functional Mathematics
    (certain exemptions may apply on this as you may not need to do these elements, ask for details)
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) workbook

Level 3 Customer Service Apprenticeship Content

The Level 3 Apprenticeship Pathway consists of the following key elements:

  • NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service
  • NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service Level 2 Functional Skills English & Level 2 Functional Mathematics
    (certain exemptions may apply on this as you may not need to do these elements, ask for details)
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) workbook

Cost

£2,700 including all registration and certification, training delivery, course materials for all elements of the apprenticeship framework.
